The first phase of the exploitation or extraction is the discovery of oil fields performed by seismic exploration as engineers send sound waves into the deep ground and then measure and process the return wave to realize whether there is a presence or absence of oil in the ground.

پاسخ: اولین مرحله برای بهره برداری یا برداشت نفت، کشف حوزه های نفتی است که این کار توسط لرزه نگاری انجام می گیرد. مهندسین اکتشاف، امواج صوتی را به اعماق زمین فرستاده و سپس امواج برگشتی را اندازه گیری و پردازش می کنند تا به وجود یا عدم وجود نفت در درون زمین پی ببرند.

Answer: Five countries including Iran, Iraq, Saudi Arabia, Qatar and the United Arab Emirates have totally 63% of proven oil reserves of the world. The Persian Gulf is a strategic centre for the production and an important area for oil exports for the Islamic Republic of Iran due to the huge volume of hydrocarbon reserves and resources, with common borders and oil fields among the Islamic countries such as Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, UAE, Qatar, Bahrain and Oman. A benefit of this energy corridor can help develop relationships with other Islamic countries in the region.
