In an economic sense, an investment is the purchase of goods that are not consumed today but are used in the future to create wealth. In finance, an investment is a monetary asset purchased with the idea that the asset will provide income in the future or appreciate and be sold at a higher price.

In a crisis situation, down turn or regional conflicts there is no interest for investment because the risk is highest. On the other hand, when stable economic and political conditions prevail within the country, capital markets will increase and people tend to invest more.

Forecasts indicate that by 2030 global demand for oil energy is almost 50% greater than current consumption so increasing demand of this industry is mainly due to demand of the developing countries and increasing need for energy and related products, caused to high development of this industry.
