Question: I need some information about Iranian petroleum industry.
Iranian oil is one of the most important industries in the country. On 2000 (AD) Iran was considered as the fourth largest producer of crude oil in the world. The biggest oil reserves are located in Iran, the Persian Gulf, Iraq, Kuwait and Saudi Arabia. About 75% of the world’s oil reserves are located in the Middle East.

پاسخ: صنعت نفت ایران از مهم‌ترین صنایع این کشور است. در سال ۲۰۰۰ (م.)، ایران چهارمین تولید کننده نفت خام جهان بود. ذخایر عظیم نفت در ایران، خلیج فارس، عراق، کویت، عربستان سعودی، قراردارد. حدود ۷۵ درصد از کل منابع نفت موجود جهان در خاورمیانه قراردارد
Question: What is the oil platform and wells?
Answer: Deep holes that have been drilled for extracting oil are called wells and the position of these wells in the sea are called oil platforms. Withdrawals from oil wells in Iran were equivalent to 4,325,000 barrels in 2008 .
Each crude oil barrel is equivalent to 159 litres.
When oil is extracted, gas also comes up but because of safety, this gas has been burned off.

پاسخ:به چاه های بسیار عمیقی که برای استخراج نفت حفر می شود چاه نفت و به محل چاه ها در دریا سکوی نفتی گویند برداشت از چاه های نفت درسال ۲۰۰۸ در ایران معادل ۴٬۳۲۵٬۰۰۰ بشکه بوده استهر بشکه نفت معادل 159 لیتر نفت خام است
همراه نفت استخراج شده گاز نیز بالا می آید اما به علت امنیت جانی افراد سوزانده می شود
